Strength Training for Swimmers - Level 1
This program is designed to help you gain strength and improve mobility for swim specific movements. While all of your workouts will be done on “dryland”, you’ll learn key exercises that directly transfer into the water to build strong swim strokes.

The session length is 1 hour with a general structure of:
warm-up, mobility, and range-of-motion work (about 10-15 min)
strength & conditioning, (40-45 min)
stretching (10 min)
Additional equipment, if possible (not required):
Yoga mat
Stretchcordz - Yellow OR FINIS Stretch Cords - Light Yellow
I prefer Stretchcordz because they have a paddle and allow your hand to be flat, which mirrors your swim stroke. Providing a second option that is a little less in cost.
Any personal weights 10lbs, 15lbs, or 20lbs if you have them. This will help us be able to have more people work together with the same weight. No need to purchase at this moment; however, you may wish to purchase to continue strength training on your own!
